1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Worldspun application or website (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and applicable Canadian federal law.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 13 years old.
Children under 13 may use the Service only under direct parental supervision using a parent or guardian’s registered account. The parent or guardian accepts full responsibility for any use of the Service by a child under their account.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate and current information
You may not share your account with others or allow others to access the Service through your account, except for children under 13 using a parent’s account as described above.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Subscription Tiers
Worldspun offers the following monthly subscription plans:

Prices are in US dollars. Subscriptions are billed monthly. Premium rulesets and content packs may be available as additional one-time purchases.
Billing
- Mobile subscriptions are billed through Google Play or Apple App Store and are subject to their respective terms.
- Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the platform where you subscribed (Google Play, App Store, or account settings on web).
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until then.
- We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods except as required by applicable law or platform policy (Google Play and Apple have their own refund policies).
Free Trial
The Noob tier provides 30 days of free access. After 30 days, access continues at the Noob level with reduced features, or you may upgrade to a paid plan.
5. AI-Generated Content
Worldspun uses artificial intelligence to generate narrative content, dialogue, and game responses (“AI Content”) in real time through Infinity, our AI Dungeon Master.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI Content is generated dynamically and may be unpredictable, inconsistent, or occasionally inappropriate
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or suitability of AI Content for any purpose
- AI Content does not represent the views or opinions of Worldspun
- You may encounter AI Content that is unexpected or that you find objectionable despite our content filters
- We reserve the right to modify, improve, or replace our AI systems at any time
If you encounter AI Content that you believe is harmful or violates these Terms, please report it to support@worldspun.io.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or access controls
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or data
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these Terms without notice.
7. Intellectual Property
Worldspun Content
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and the Infinity AI system — are owned by Worldspun and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Licensed Rulesets
Certain rulesets available in the Service (such as Dungeons & Dragons 5e content) are licensed from third parties. Your use of such content is subject to the terms of those licenses. Dungeons & Dragons is a trademark of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Your Content
You retain ownership of any characters, campaign names, or custom content you create. By using the Service, you grant Worldspun a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.
AI-Generated Content Ownership
AI Content generated during your gameplay sessions is not owned by you or by Worldspun in the traditional sense. You may use AI Content generated during your sessions for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Third-Party Content and Publishers
The Service may include campaigns, rulesets, or content created by third-party publishers. Such content is subject to separate licensing terms presented at the time of purchase. Worldspun is not responsible for third-party content.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- AI Content will be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for your needs
- Defects will be corrected
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WORLDSPUN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Worldspun and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@worldspun.io.
Sections 7, 9, 10, and 11 survive termination of these Terms.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and applicable Canadian federal law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation by contacting support@worldspun.io. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
